Cameras in cars have the problem of cleaning when conditions are not perfect.
Dust, mud, rain, snow, etc.
All this impacts the camera's quality performance.
And this is a serious problem for the Autonomous Driving technology.
Recently, Tesla engineers patented a camera with a self cleaning system using a wiper technology (Patent US 12,636,684 B1).
When checking the camera's diagram, the technology idea resembles the human eye anam
oty.
A water spraying systems is installed to deliver water from the top of the lens, while a wiper removes the dirt.
This is basically how the human eye works.
